Steven G. Hess has been licensed as a Public Adjuster in New York State since 1969. His range of expertise includes building damage, personal property damage, fine arts and jewelry losses, and all types of time element and business income claims.
 
Steven’s area of practice expanded over his 50 years in the business to include claims all over the United States. He had extensive experience with claims in Puerto Rico following Hurricane Hugo and in Mississippi and Louisiana following Hurricane Katrina. The various major storms that have ravaged Florida and the east coast U.S. have also kept him busy. He represented hundreds of businesses that were impacted following the 9/11 terrorist attack as well as the losses incurred from Superstorm Sandy in New York and New Jersey.

Mr. Hess has represented financial institutions, law firms, major manufacturing entities, real estate developers and governmental agencies. Detailed references are available upon request.

Steve is a graduate of SUNY at Stony Brook and he has served on numerous residential and organizational Boards of Directors. He resides both on the Upper East Side of Manhattan and his home on Long Island.
